                      A Mighty Force

From remote central Queensland where the mine is proposed to be built, to rallies in metropolitan Melbourne and Sydney, this David and Goliath battle is one of the most determined and focused campaigns in Australia’s recent history.
This 30 minute documentary captures the power and passion of people taking extraordinary action to stop Adani from building one of the biggest coal mines in the world, threatening our water, our climate and our Great Barrier Reef.  Board members have participated in this action.

While we’ve won some mighty victories, our fight is far from over. One thing is certain: Adani has a fight on its hands.

Call for nominations
Tired of the same old headlines about our leaders failing to act on climate?
Do you believe that a team of us little guys can have a lasting effect? If we stick together we can change the story, tip the balance and make things happen.
BCCAG is about climate justice and if you believe in our commitment to a safe climate for all, why not join our team and help.  We need a few workers to help share the load of our committee. A small amount of time a week and a bit of hard work for climate justice will make you feel good and our planet will be a better place for your effort.
Some experience organising or administering would be helpful and with strong support from your fellow team members will help you make a real impact.
You can make a difference.  Nominations must be received in writing prior to the AGM on 25th July.  Interested?  Talk to David Williams 0409 235 502 or David Rothfield 0418 523 322
