No one is required to do anything they do not wish to do however, all members are open to participate in public protests on important environmental issues they care about. The group has participated in a range of actions and campaigns not only in Bayside and surrounds, but also in support of other regional groups. BCCAG regularly meets with MPs in Bayside and a range of other areas. We recently got our local council to declare a ‘Climate Emergency’, with a number of other councils following.

I Support BCCAG’s mission to work to reduce the impact of climate change and promote sustainability by:

  • Raising awareness in the community about the consequences of climate change and how these consequences can be mitigated

  • Influencing decision makers at all levels to implement necessary mitigation strategies

  • Encouraging sustainable practices among Bayside residents and hereby apply to become a member of BCCAG

  • Note If you share our concern for ‘A Safe Climate for all’, you are welcome to join our group as an ‘Active Member’, and we will contact you with how you can help.
