Letter Writing Group

 You can help promote the aims of BCCAG by joining the Letter Writing Group (LWG). We support campaigns by BCCAG and by other local and national organisations. We write letters (mostly email letters nowadays) and make phone calls to politicians, companies and the media. We also sign relevant petitions.

There is no minimum commitment, and no formal process to join. There are monthly LWG meetings (currently in a member’s home), but these are not compulsory. 

Your actions are guided by: 

1. The BCCAG Website - menu item ‘Calls to Action’.

2. BCCAG Monthly Newsletters.

3. LWG lists of actions which are circulated by email. These are related to existing BCCAG activities plus promotions suggested by LWG members.

All of the above will include suggested people/organisations to approach, with references to relevant information and key points that you could make.

We have guides to letter writing, and example letters to copy, adapt - or inspire you! The LWG members also can give assistance and moral support!
